1920 is a body of work made during a transformative period in the artist's life. It is based around the themes of grief, chaos, love, and identity.
The art shown was created with the intention of releasing deep-seated emotions. Narratives associated with the past are especially prevalent, as they are significant to how the artist experiences the 'sublime' even after significant upheaval in her life.
